Yachts Portugal

Smart Co-Ownership

A larger yacht for half, a third or a quarter of the price. With Azimut management included.

Azimut Magellano 25M

The concept

Up to four owners buy a new Azimut together. Each owns their fraction of the yacht, uses it on their dates and shares the costs in the same proportion. Yachts Portugal handles management, so each owner finds the yacht ready to sail.

  • ½Two owners
  • ⅓Three owners
  • ¼Four owners

How it works

Owner of your fraction
The yacht is held by a company created only for it, in which each owner holds the share of their fraction.
Up to four owners
A fraction can be shared by two people, within that fraction’s dates and period.
Four-year programme
After four years, the group can change yacht or sell. Anyone who wishes can continue.
Free to sell
Each owner can sell their fraction at any time, with the other owners having first refusal.
Charter that lowers costs
A few summer charter weeks generate income that reduces the annual cost of each fraction.
Management included
Crew, maintenance, insurance, marina, calendar and charter, with a report for every owner.

*Indicative figures. Magellano 25M base price (Range 2026), VAT not paid. Annual fixed costs of 250.090 € (crew, insurance, maintenance, marina, Azimut management, accounting and taxes). With charter: an extra 25.000 € for summer berths and extras, and net income of 52.000 € per week (65.000 € per week, after 20% commission). Legal and tax structure to be validated case by case.

A year on board

The calendar shares the weeks in proportion to each fraction, with the summer weeks rotating every year. Between cruises, the yacht remains available in the marina for lunches, meetings or simply being on board.

If you want to sell your fraction

  1. First refusal

The fraction is first offered to the other owners.

  2. Valuation

The value is set by an independent surveyor.

  3. New owner

If no one takes it up, we introduce buyers, approved by the group.

  4. Transfer

The fraction passes to the new owner and the yacht keeps sailing.
